Joint Declaration signed between the ENARD and ISGAN Implementing Agreements
The ENARD and ISGAN Executive Committees (ExCos) met for a co-ordinated programme of Meetings, in Scheveningen, The Netherlands, 19th-21st October. These Meetings followed immediately on from the Joint Workshop on “International Knowledge Exchange of Smart Grid Demonstration Projects”, held Tuesday 18th October.
The co-ordinated programme of Meetings followed on from ENARD’s participation in the Inaugural ISGAN ExCo Meeting in Seoul, June 2011, as previously reported in an earlier ENARD News Release, June 2011.
The two ExCos agreed on the basis for the effective transfer of the ENARD knowledge and experience base, developed over the past 5 plus years, into ISGAN, and with ISGAN continuing thereafter, responsible for Smart Grid and associated electricity system activities, within the family of IEA Implementing Agreements.
This agreement formed the basis for the Joint Declaration between the two Implementing Agreements, signed by Stig Goethe and Michele De Nigris, ENARD and ISGAN Chairs, respectively, in front of the assembled delegates from the two Implementing Agreements.
