Inaugural Annex IV Experts Meeting held Milano, Italy, 28th-29th April 2009
CESI Ricerca (now ERSE SpA) hosted the Inaugural Experts Meeting for Annex IV, on Transmission Systems, at its facilities in Milano, Italy, 28th-29th April. Annex IV was developed in line with the recommendations following from ENARD’s original Transmission Systems Workshop, hosted by SINTEF Energy Research in Norway, September 2007. Annex IV aims to develop a long term vision for developments in transmission systems and to identify and address the principal barriers in relation to the future expansion of transmission system capacity. The Annex IV work programme is to be discharged via two principal tasks, over a 24 month time frame, with the support of 7x participating countries, namely Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States, Norway and Italy. The operating agency for Annex IV is vested in SINTEF Energy Research (Norway) and CESI Ricerca, Italy (now ERSE SpA).
