ENARD Represented at SmartGrids 2nd General Assembly, Bad Staffelstein, Germany, 8th-9th November 2007
ENARD was pleased to participate in and be represented at the 2nd General Assembly of the European Technology Platform SmartGrids, held Kloster Banz, Bad Staffelstein, Germany, 8th-9th November 2007.
ENARD was represented by John Baker, Operating Agent for Annex I and by Stig Goethe and Rainer Bacher, the ENARD Executive Committee Chair and vice-Chair, respectively. ENARD's poster contribution to the Assembly briefed delegates on the progress achieved to date in the Implementing Agreement, including the adoption of two new Annexes and the development of the membership base.
The European Technology Platform SmartGrids aims to enhance the level of coherence between the various European, national and regional programmes addressing the challenges of future networks. ENARD very much supports the objectives of the Technology Platform and looks forward to its further development in the coming months.
